Beginning in 2009, Comarch ECOD is active in Asia. After six months of operations in Vietnam, Comarch has begun cooperation with 200 customers in this market. As a result, many vendors are ready to receive orders from Metro Vietnam through the ECOD platform. Talks with other chains, that will also be implementing electronic document exchange (EDI - Electronic Data Interchange) soon, are also in progress.

At the end of the last year in Hanoi, Vietnam, a joint workshop organized by GS1 Vietnam as well as COMARCH and SA2 Worldsync was held. Comarch has been present in Vietnam since 2009, offering its own EDI solution, Comarch ECOD Platform.

Trade and Services business unit gave out the Golden Client of Comarch Award. Winning the award was BP Poland, a client of Comarch in the areas of loyalty programs (Comarch Loyalty Management), WAN outsourcing and the electronic document exchange system, ECOD.
