BP network of filling stations in Poland is using on Comarch ECOD platform since 2006. Cooperation between the two companies continues to grow and the project shall be accompanied by progressively more types of documents.
As a result of major development of shops at filling stations that offer a growing range of products, including fast moving customer goods, electronic exchange of documents in this industry has become very important. Implementation of the project of e-procurement sent from the station to distributors or manufacturers had already begun in 2006 and is well verified in practice.
- Implementation of Comarch ECOD in BP is very dynamic. Partners depends on the rapid implementation of electronic document exchange in both directions, which is associated with many tests and dedicated solutions, which fully meet the business requirements of BP and associated companies. Direct supervision of the project is fully dedicated to ECOD project manager. This ensures ongoing support and rapid transition from test phase to production - said Marcin Warwas, Comarch Vice President responsible for Trade and Services Business Unit
The project was introduced appropriate modifications due to changes in the distributor, supplying goods to the BP station. Project has been extended with new types of documents, including the ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice)-confirmation of order acceptance, CASN (Confirmed ASN) - certificate of completion and DISREP (Discrepancy Report) - report of discrepancies between order and delivery. In the short term tests will be introduced to the e-invoice.
In connection with BP plans on resigning from paper document circulation, and above all invoices, both partners decided on electronic archive offered by Comarch - ECOD Archive. However, in order to control of transfer of the current documents, BP uses ECOD Tracker, which specifically for the project has been extended of verification module for the procurement by the various stations according to the agreed timetable.
- It is worth mentioning that the cooperation between Comarch and BP network refers not only to the EDI projects. Comarch Loyalty Program implemented in BP develops very well not only in Poland but also in other countries – Germany, France, Spain. Similarly with Business Intelligence systems for reporting, which are still being developed and delivered to several European countries.
