AKZO NOBEL POLAND change model for cooperation with distributors
Comarch SA and AKZO NOBEL Decorative Paints Ltd is extending
existing cooperation and has signed an agreement for the implementation
and maintenance of the Comarch ECOD Distribution and the Comarch ECOD Business Portal.
Implementation of both products in AKZO NOBEL will allow for reporting
in the traditional retail channel (AKZO NOBEL uses Comarch ECOD
Operator) and optimization of communication and information flow from a
wholesale partner.
- We are pleased that our products
also succeed outside the FMCG industry, where they have been successful
for years. Throughout the entire process of choosing a solution we were
especially focused on optimizing the potential benefits that the
implementation of the Comarch ECOD Distribution would provide to AKZO NOBEL. Therefore, the process of determining the
functional scope of the platform has lasted more than half a year. We
believe that the solution implemented by Comarch will greatly help AKZO
NOBEL build a sustainable competitive advantage on the Polish market - says Bartłomiej Szuper, Consulting Director of Retail / FMCG, Comarch.
- Thanks
to the extension of our cooperation we will receive a complete and
reliable picture of the market in which we operate. The innovation and
flexibility offered by Comarch's solutions will allow us to completely
revolutionize the approach to cooperation with our business partners.
By using Comarch ECOD Distribution and Comarch ECOD Business Portal we will definitely draw closer to our business partners and our own
field sales force. We engaged more than 10 people from different
departments of our company in the process of defining the scope of Comarch ECOD Distribution in AKZO NOBEL. This shows how seriously we take this project, which is our strategic goal in 2010 - says Waldemar Romanowski, Wholesaler Distribution Manager, AKZO NOBEL.
