Comarch EDI International Conference was held for the third time. This year, in Munich, about 50 representatives of companies from many countries of Europe discussed EDI (electronic document interchange) issues for two days.

Comarch EDI International is a meeting of experts who are professionally concerned with EDI (electronic document interchange) issues. The conference is addressed to the directors and managers of sales, logistics and IT. Last year's edition brought together representatives of leading companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe, including from Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia, Poland, the Ukraine and Turkey. Comarch and Sanofi-Aventis signed a multi-year agreement on the implementation and maintenance of the Comarch ECOD Platform - EDI solutions exchange electronic documents with pharmaceutical distributors.

Comarch ECM Version 10.2 upgrades the system, according to the clients’ expectations, with new mechanisms and functions increasing business value and competitiveness of the solution. Extension of the BPM area, Business Intelligence reporting system or SAP integration are just a few of the implemented changes.

By means of the EDI platform Comarch ECOD, electronic communication between business partners is offered as a modern service from within the data center. The corresponding component for archiving, ECOD Archive, has now been certified by an auditing company. Thus, invoices can be archived with highest level of security and at significantly lower costs than in case of an archiving solution installed on-site.

Müller Polska, a branch of a German company producing yogurts and dairy products since 1896 and the manufacturer of Müller Mix yoghurts, has signed a contract with Comarch for the implementation and management of Comarch ECOD Agent 2.0 solutions, which will support of sales representatives in the Poland.

PPG Deco Poland - a part of the PPG Industries group, a world leader on the paint, varnishes and chemicals market , a manufacturer of the leading paints and varnishes on the Polish market, including the flagship brand Dekoral - and Comarch, has signed a contract to implement and support the Comarch ECOD Business Portal solution.
