Comarch joins The National Forum for E-invoicing in France
The electronic invoice has existed in France and around the world for 30 years, with the objectives of optimizing and automating processing and accelerating payments. It is also a central component of the buying/selling process, at the heart of supply chains. For more than 10 years, a fundamental movement has been spreading, led by state administrations, first to better collect tax (VAT in particular), and second to support the digital commercial transition, from ordering and contracting to settlement.
As of July 1, 2024, the obligation to receive invoices in electronic format will be mandatory for all companies in France, when their supplier is required to issue an invoice in electronic format. Taking into account these coming changes, Comarch has taken a further step to ensure it is in line with French requirements, by joining the FNFE (Forum National de la Facture Electronique).
What is FNFE?
FNFE-MPE is an association whose mission is to enable the widest possible consultation between all French public and private players in the context of the deployment of electronic invoices and electronic public procurement on the national market, and to help shape the definition of regulations, public policies and any incentive measures contributing to this objective.
Thanks to this membership, Comarch will be able to
- Be part of a community that is well recognized by the French government
- Get information and updates about technical evolutions of the factur X-format
- Remain informed about French legacy evolution for 2024 and the impact on companies
Electronic Invoice Day 2022
On 5th April 2022, Comarch joined JFE2022: Electronic Invoice Day 2022, organized by FNFE, at which a 360° overview of the electronic invoice was presented. Comarch is constantly proving to be a reliable, well informed and prepared expert in managing e-invoices. The company is in line with different e-invoicing requirements in many countries, for example Italy (SDI), Poland (KSeF), where the e-Invoicing model is very similar to that planned in France, India (GST System), Saudi Arabia (ZATCA), and many others.
