Comarch is implementing a class EDI solution for the Sanofi-Aventis
Comarch and Sanofi-Aventis signed a multi-year agreement on the implementation and maintenance of the Comarch ECOD Platform - EDI solutions exchange electronic documents with pharmaceutical distributors.
- We have signed an agreement that will improve our logistics processes. Although the pharmaceutical industry was one of the first which began to use EDI solutions it was not carried out an automated way - data was transmitted via floppy disk or by telephone. The current implementation, thanks to Comarch ECOD Operator will allow communication between the Sanofi-Aventis ERP system and distributors to be realized directly, without involving people - says Barbara Partyka, Logistic Manager at Sanofi-Aventis.
- We will begin electronic document exchange with transferring orders, invoices and the product catalog. During the next stage we plan to eliminate paper invoices and switch to e-invoice, which due to Comarch ECOD Archive will be stored in a safe and lawful manner - says Krzysztof Dodge, Business Information Solutions Manager.
