COMARCH Positioned in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms 2017
Comarch, a global provider of comprehensive IT solutions, has been positioned in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms, based on the evaluation of its completeness of vision and ability to execute.
In 2016, Gartner introduced Content Services Platforms (CSP) as an evolution of Enterprise Content Management (ECM). Reinventing ECM was a response to market demands and organizations’s need for content in digital business.
Gartner explains: “Content services platforms are the next stage of enterprise content management, representing a shift from self-contained systems and repositories to open services.”
"Being positioned by Gartner in Magic Quadrant, among TOP 20 global ECM/CSP providers, is a great success. We achieved this thanks to implementations for global clients such as Technicolor, BIC, SAS, Valeant and BP, and a wide range of solutions specific for various industries" - says Adam Beldzik, Comarch Business Unit E-INVOICING Director.
"Content services platforms are designed not only to manage documents, but also to provide competitive advantages and optimize multiple processes in dynamically changing organizational environments. Our offer is a response to customers’ needs for cloud services to collect, exchange and process documents, both internally as well as with their suppliers and customers. And it allows us to deliver a true end to end solution", adds Adam Beldzik.

How Magic Quadrant works?
The Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms evaluates vendors and their ability to deliver content services for digital businesses and support for existing and emerging content use cases.
In the report, Comarch is named as a vendor of an enterprise content services solution that addresses full content management needs, including document capture, OCR, workflow, records, lifecycle and archiving, and offers a broad range of content-related capabilities and packaged solutions for specific verticals (e.g. healthcare, retail, manufacturing and banking).
“For nearly 20 years I’ve been responsible for implementations and development of ECM solutions. From the beginning, I have seen exponential year on year growth of data produced by organizations, and these data must be better handled, organized and understood at the system level in order to drive customer-focused company development. Therefore, all RnD activities planned and executed by my team are oriented towards improvements in the key areas of enterprise level knowledge sharing, transactional content management, compliance, and integration capabilities. Being positioned by Gartner MQ, especially with Enterprise Content Management being redefined as Content Services Platforms, confirms that the strategy was right. It also provides solid foundations to further develop and strengthen our solution's market position, especially now that we have the tools and knowledge required to start applying Machine Learning in real CSP use cases, achieving human-like system understanding for stored data and documents”, says Artur Baran, Comarch E-INVOICING RnD Director.
Comarch, in response to market demands and customers’ needs, has been adjusting its offers continuously, moving to data exchange and document management as content services for digital business. Gartner predicts that, by 2020, about 20% of vendors will transform their ECM offers into content services platforms.
