Comarch EDI in the Gartner’s Magic Quadrant again

Comarch once again has been highlighted by the analyst firm Gartner’s report ‘Magic Quadrant for Integration Brokerage 2014’. Comarch EDI was also mentioned in the previous version of the report published in 2009. 

Analysts pointed out that Comarch EDI has risen from a small start-up to become prominent IB provider in Europe. Comarch EDI mainly serves companies in Central and Eastern Europe but is expanding its operations into Germany and France. They added that Comarch is well-positioned to address B2B modernization projects overall and electronic invoicing in particular, as those areas are driven by sharp changes in regulations (incl. EU as well as local requirements like in Russia, Turkey or Ukraine).

Gartner indicated the following Comarch EDI strengths:

• The vendor has healthy adoption rate and a proven strategy in targeted, growing geographies
• The vendor doesn’t operate a legacy value-added network (VAN) but takes fresh, modern, wide-ranging approach to IB
• Comarch is investing greatly in IB infrastructure, and in the scalability of its core B2B engine, and it has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time

Gartner predicts that the global market of IB (Integration Brokerage) solutions  will grow from $ 1.8 billion in 2013 to nearly $ 2.6 billion in 2016.
