Comarch EDI in the Czerwona Torebka stores
Czerwona Torebka is a rapidly expanding nationwide network of stores under a discount brand. Since the beginning of the development strategy of the new network, Czerwona Torebka has bet on effective communication in the supply chain. The company chose the Comarch EDI platform for the comprehensive exchange of data and documents with their suppliers. The project took into account the integrated flow of data from a logistics operator, which is an innovative approach in Poland. Within one month about 300 suppliers were connected to Comarch EDI. Comarch EDI is a platform that processes 250 million documents per year, which is used by more than 30 000 users from 30 countries in various industries.
- The project involved the implementation of 9 messages that ensure full communication within the supply chain - from exchange of product and localization data, through the ordering process, confirmation of orders, delivery and acceptance of the goods all the way to e-invoicing - said Marta Frok, Consulting Director at Comarch EDI Poland.
Access to high quality data allows for rapid decision-making and appropriate response to the changing business environment. It also affects a good relationship with suppliers.
- We decided to use Comarch EDI because of its experience and position in Poland, which guaranteed a quick launch of the communication with suppliers. The objective has been achieved - within one month we were able to connect about 300 suppliers who received electronic orders to supply the 'Czerwona Torebka' stores - says Piotr Pęcherski , Director of IT and Proxy of Czerwona Torebka SA.
