Legal Requirements on Invoicing in HungaryFrom July 1st, 2018, the new regulation on Online Invoice Data Reporting will come into force in Hungary (applicable for Invoices with a VAT amount above HUF 100,000/approx. EUR 320).

According to new regulations, taxpayers are expected to report at least the mandatory data content of invoices and correction documents issued to the NAV (National Tax and Customs Administration) in XML format, in a predefined manner and using a set data structure. Comarch, which has for many years been providing EDI/E-invoicing services for hundreds of businesses in Hungary with its local partner company, has adjusted its system to the new requirements. From now on, you can use Comarch E-invoicing Platform in the knowledge that it complies with the Online Invoice Data Reporting requirements in Hungary.

Comarch e-Invoicing enables the cost-effective handling of entire invoice-related flows. You can rest assured that invoice content is validated and the format converted in the right way. The transmission process is secure, and you have access to detailed information about all statuses. Moreover, you may fully streamline and automate your AP/AR invoice process. For many companies, electronic invoicing and VAT compliance are among the most challenging processes with which they have to deal. The solution includes support for regulatory requirements – integrity of content, authenticity of origin and legibility assurance – as well as protection of sensitive data and invoice archiving for the legally required period (data retention policy). Comarch is a GS1 solution partner on the global level, and participates in the work of the European E-invoicing Service Providers Association (EESPA).
