Thales Alenia Space Spain chooses Comarch Smart BSS
The Spanish company, subsidiary of Thales Alenia Space – the largest satellite manufacturer in Europe – has selected Comarch Smart BSS for one of their clients in Southern Asia, to improve the management of their product offers, payments and invoicing, and to shorten time to market. The contract was signed at the end of 2016, and the project is currently in progress.
Kraków, Poland, 14 March 2017 -Thales Alenia Space decided to deploy Comarch Smart BSS, a comprehensive pre-integrated solution with pre-defined business processes for one of their clients. The chosen solution consists of a CRM tool for service providers, a billing system, and a product catalog. The versatile Comarch Smart BSS was also adjusted to support B2B processes efficiently, which resulted from the needs of the end customer. The new BSS platform will optimize key processes carried out by the Asian satellite operator (Thales Alenia Space’s customer), which provides broadcasting and broadband services to business clients. The system will enable the management of all payment types and reduce time to market for new services, thanks to its customizable product catalog. The 360-degree customer view offered by the compact CRM module will also enable Thales’ Asian client to enhance customer experience.
As a trusted provider of IT solutions, with worldwide experience and references, Comarch was the perfect vendor to recommend to our Asian contractor. What is most important for us and our contractor is the company’s flexibility and the possibility to easily adapt the BSS solution to the very specific needs of a satellite operator and to the processes typical for the B2B model. We were looking for an all in one solution that would also comply with our ambitious implementation timeline, so Comarch Smart BSS was a natural choice, says Isaac Moreno, technical manager at Thales Alenia Space Spain.
Thales Alenia Space also highly valued the multi-service and multi-country support provided by Comarch.
