FiRa Test Event at Comarch Headquarters

We are happy to announce that Comarch will be the host of this year’s FiRa Test Event, here at our headquarters in Kraków. FiRa Consortium members will be provided with infrastructure and supported at every step of the event organization, in order to continue developing expert certification products.

TheT FiRa Consortium is a group of leading technology companies, academic institutions, and semiconductor providers working together to create an open, reliable, easy-to-use and secure Ultra-Wideband (UWB) ecosystem for applications such as asset tracking, indoor navigation and secure data transfer. UWB is a low-power, low-cost, high-speed, and low-interference alternative to other wireless communication technologies. The FiRa Consortium is paving the way for this kind of secure and reliable UWB ecosystem that will have a major impact on the way we interact with the digital world.

The goal of the event is to test FiRa members’ products against current specifications. Testing at the event will be used to improve the FiRa specifications and provide feedback that will be used to specify the requirements for test equipment that Comarch provides to support the FiRa certification program.
