Janusz Filipiak participated in the French International Business Summit
Professor Janusz Filipiak, President of Comarch, took part in the French International Business Summit. The meeting was held under the patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and Édard Philippe, French Prime Minister. Professor Filipiak was the only CEO from Central and Eastern Europe.
The international conference, whose watchword was "Choose France!", was intended to show the potential of that country and encourage foreign companies to invest in France. The summit took place on 22 January in Versailles and about 140 top managers from all around the world took part in it. The French International Business Summit is called "mini Davos" because a lot of business leaders stayed there on their way to the summit in the Swiss Alps.
- The Versailles meeting was very useful. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the French government’s plans to create favourable conditions for foreign investments. Both Prime Minister Édouard Philippe and President Emmanuel Macrona stated that the French authorities would make every effort to ensure that the business by the Loire River could be developed even more dynamically. The government programs for improving the quality of human capital deserve special attention. The authorities plan to allocate EUR 15 billion for this purpose, among others for the implementation of bilingual, French and English, projects and new places in multilingual schools. For Comarch, the participation in the conference was the opportunity to present our investments in France and IT systems in the area of e-health and smart city – says Professor Janusz Filipiak, founder of Comarch and president of its Management Board.
