Alior Bank implements a new digital banking for business customers in cooperation with Comarch
Alior Bank is running a new digital banking project for companies – Alior Business and Alior Business Mobile – for which the bank established cooperation with Comarch. Its implementation is planned for the years 2023–2025. The new system will replace the BusinessPro internet banking, currently used mainly by small and medium enterprises, and corporations. The project is the result of the new development strategy: Your Bank of everyday life, your Bank for the future.
The new online banking for business customers is based on four pillars: a self-service module, a mobile application, a modern online banking service, and integrated ERP-class tools. The goal is to create a comprehensive, multi-channel and flexible digital ecosystem that will provide entrepreneurs with professional support in building and developing their business.
“Investments in the technological development of service and sales systems are the foundation of our strategy ‘Your Bank of everyday life, your Bank for the future’. Alior Business will be integrated e.g. with a cloud-based ERP-class solution and a bank credit granting system. Thanks to this, we will enable entrepreneurs to quickly, remotely communicate with our bank and exchange credit or after-sales documentation. In addition, direct integration of online and mobile banking with the ERP system will allow customers to use advanced finance and accounting modules, HR and payroll modules, e-shop and BusinessIntelligence analyzes in the banking application” - says Rafał Zając, director of the Digital Banking Department for Business Customers at Alior Bank.
The ecosystem of the new digital banking for companies will be distinguished by the latest application security standards and an intuitive interface. In addition, the solution will ensure compatibility with the latest technologies and microservices architecture, which will significantly shorten the time of, for example, introducing new solutions for business customers.
“This is another project that we are implementing in cooperation with Alior Bank. For us, this is a confirmation of the Comarch systems’ highest quality. Our common goal is for Alior Bank to offer their clients services at a global level technologically. This will be possible thanks to the use of our flagship product, Comarch Open Platform. It is a multi-channel banking platform designed in the microservices architecture. We start work with this commitment” - says Marcin Franczyk, Sales Director at Comarch.
Alior Bank plans to start the migration of the first business customers from the BusinessPro system to the new Alior Business online banking in Q2 2024. The process will be implemented in several stages by the end of 2025, and will be preceded by an extensive information and education campaign.
