Completion of implementation of Comarch MDM in BP Poland
This is yet another successful implementation of Comarch Business Intelligence in the chain of BP petrol stations.
BP is one of the world’s largest power companies, which provides customers with fuel for transport purposes and with power for production of heat and light.
This time the project concerned implementation of Comarch Business Intelligence Master Data Management (MDM), that is an effective data quality management and data integration for the purpose of later analysis from a different business perspective.
The purposes of the project which the BI team faced included integration of data from all the BP stations in Poland, which allowed to streamline settlement of invoices at each station. This has considerably increased the comfort of customer service, shortened waiting time and significantly increased the capacity of the stations.
Successful cooperation in the scope of completing this project is confirmed by the testimonial given by the PB project manager – partially cited below:
“The MDM project was a solution for integration of date from BP stations in Poland, long expected by both the stations and the customers. From the very beginning of the project – its initial phases—the Comarch design team had a highly substantive contribution towards creation of the final solution. At the later stages of the project, construction, then implementation and post-implementation support, it gained our recognition for professionalism, swiftness of response and quality of the provided system element. The project was completed on time and within the assumed budget, it won exceptionally high ratings in the station and customer satisfaction surveys and it contributed to improving financial results of the BP stations in Poland. - Krzysztof Podosek, BP Project Manager.
