Comarch has been awarded, in the sixteenth edition of the contest, “Przyjaciel sportu” (“Friend of Sports”). This prestigious prize is rewarded to people and companies working on the development and promotion of sport in Cracow.

Supporting sport, both professional and amongst young people in Cracow, as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle among our employees, is a part of corporate social responsibility recognised by Comarch. This award is an honor for our company. It is the result of the wise policy of Comarch - Paweł Prokop, Vice President and Director of the Public Administration Business Unit.

Since the beginning of the activity, Comarch has extensively been involved in popularising sport among young people and inhabitants of the Malopolska Region. For 15 years, Comarch has been the main sponsor of the Cracovia sport club.

This award is the proof of gratitude from Cracow local government and citizens of our city for your commitment in spreading sport culture. It is high time to express our appreciation - Bogusław Kośmider, the Chairman of the City Council of Cracow.

Comarch received the title for the highest financial contribution to the development of physical culture with assistance given to athletes or sports organisations working in the Cracow area. Comarch has consequently an influence towards the growth of Cracovia sport club, not only by organizing excellent conditions for training and playing football and matches, but also in infrastructure which is so necessary for the upbringing and development of the most talented players.
